Hi CMK and Stockman.

Actually used to watch YMYC, I think around 5 years ago, which is where I first picked up on OBJ.
A woman called in and gave some details of what OBJ was and asked what the panel thought, of course OBJ got shot down by the "experts as it wasn't a blue chip".
Have to thank that lady as she has made my investing life really interesting as I obviously bought in and over time have seen my investment dwindle at times to 2/5s of bugger all and seen it in the hundreds of thousands a couple of times (today included) and I used to think Space Mountain was fun.
What amazes me is that these supposed experts can thumbs up or thumbs down a stock in moments and people lap this crap up.
Fortunately I was looking for ideas at the time and OBJ tweaked my curiosity, so a bit of research told me this was looked like a goer at some point, so have built up a nice little holding over the years which by the looks of it is going to make my retirement fairly comfortable.
To all you guys (females included) who have been in this over the past 5 years or so you have earned all sorts of awards.
Gold Medals for
- Patience
-Dot joining
-Appeasing the partner and telling them it IS going to happen (so glad my investment has become our investment)
- Hanging in whilst all the naysayers pop out of the proverbial woodwork every time we take a backward step and hurl crap at us.

Probably said enough. Tucking into a little Peter Lehman 8 Songs at the moment which is starting to kick in so thanks to all for all the posts over the years and by the look of it the train may actually be leaving the station - gotta love Australian public transport.
