TD, I believe the point is really made about serial pests who right on cue pop up, usually in groups and argue that black is white, the earth really is flat and the end of the world is nigh. The only stocks they should be interested in are the wooden ones which should be holding them captive, as they enjoy the fruits of their labour by the bucket load.
Of course some of these are trying to unsettle holders to pick their pockets, some are outright nuts and some are paid to do that job. I'm sure there are plenty of other reasons for people doing that, doesn't matter...
I try to keep a bucket of rotten fruit handy here in 88E, just to keep the downramping wannabe stock holders honest.
