Why do you assume the post was deliberately deleted? I've had innocuous stuff dissappear. I wonder if there's a bug in HC's system that drops postings?
It would be great if the HC moderators/managers could announce when a posting is deleted deliberately. Other forums certainly do. I appreciate that there's a lot of work in moderating the *huge* flow of postings that HC gets--but, if posters lose confidence in the workings of a forum they'll not bother participating.
