Hidden orders/icebergs etc will show up pre opening as you have to set a quantity for the order to be accepted by the asx.
I like using hidden orders because you get slightly better fills (always the set price or better). If retail mugs like myself use these type of orders you can probably ditch the impending institutional buying theory
