oz history is a fraud; we've all been, page-41

I was invited to attend a seminar on Reconciliation hosted by Whitehorse City Council recently and the crap was hard to believe.

They (the aboriginees and Friends of Reconciliation) want the following

-Recognition of Aboriginal Sovereignty of the land (that is all of Australia)
-Financial compensation for Stolen Generation
-a % of Whitehorse Council rates revenue to be given to local indigenous people (all 253 of them)

The Yorta Yorta land rights case is going to be appealed because they did not get exclusive water rights to the Murray River (I guess that includes the Snowy River water that is redirected into the Murray/Murrumbidgee rivers)

This is absurd. I was also told Reconcilition is a War they are going to win

But no body could tell me at what point could we say we are reconciled i.e. when will these demands cease or this war be ended?

The twisted distortions of history need to stop we all should be seeking to find the
truth about our past and Windshuttles book should be incorporated into our school education system.

Of curious Interest - I was told to shut up by one woman because she was sick of hearing my white male voice when I disagreed with the distortion of history..
