re: up 12 pc on no news...pre open if you have a trading system with set profit targets to sell and it works for you, that's great. Once you start tinkering with your system, you might end up exposing yourself on the downside.

For me OMP was a long term trade/investment and I used the profit result to actually top up my holdings. Takeovers are great when they happen to come along.

Not to worry Yurxter, I too have sold stocks some days prior to takeover announcements and I know the feeling.....Hindsight....if only it could be bottled

Geez I even bought Paminco a couple of weeks before it went into administration....in my disgust i refused to subscribe to ZFX when it was offered....No place for emotions to come into it!
