Bron, as an ex-farmer and ex-Treasury official, pro-business Bill English if he takes over the leadership, sentiment in Fonterra, ATM/A2M and other diary stocks probably SPK, AIZ too would return and send the NZX up.
Even tho he is a list MP, that does not preclude Bill from PM. Key isfinished after his failed flag change and business sentiment in NZ is terrible.
Key has lost the plot if he ever had it and the failed flag debate has destroyed his pakeha vote. BUsiness no longer trusts a man who has something of the night about him.
According to Juwai, even Chinese areas in Auckland like Mt Roskill are flatlining, the PRC'ers are renting in Auckland and buying in Sydney north shore and Glen Waverly before moving their kids from NZ to Australia.
Perhaps Bill will not change that but he will move sentiment in the markets and sentiment in A2M/ATM IMHO but pls DYOR.
