After completing its detailed site evaluation and conceptual design study of a proposed 5MW CETO commercial demonstration project in Irish waters, Carnegie has now received a wave energy Foreshore Licence for the West Coast of Ireland.

The approval of the wave energy Foreshore Licence over the Clare site allows Carnegie (through subsidiary CWE Ireland) to commence site investigation work such as environmental surveys and detailed engineering. Such investigations will inform and guide the next steps in the development of a CETO wave energy facility which will be the subject of subsequent and separate foreshore, environmental and planning applications.

How old is this Foreshore Licence news as there is no date on it on Carnegie's website? Is this new?
