OK, thanks. I need to try and learn how that works as I had always thought that during a take-over even pre-open was always pointed to the take-over buyer. I wonder if this is due to the actual offer being off-market with the on-market buy not being part of the binding offer but more an instruction from the bidder and whomever picked them up would have to be more than a retail buyer, possibly a broker or professional trader? Got any links you can share on how this works please?
