I'm the same, the daft thing is I'll be popping the champers when it rockets and still won't sell any.
I think the only way my poor missus will see any profit is when we get taken out.
I heard a story about an American couple that bought a few dollars worth of shares in a US oil explorer and quite literally "Bottom Drawed" the certificates to the point they forgot about them and were amazed to eventually land a six figure cheque for them after gathering dust for 20 years....Now that sounds familiar!!
