They are not making money - basically spending capital on exec salaries. They do not have their own production - basically some arrangement with a Chinese company they "has the capacity" to product a certain amount. Like the watches, they will just send orders to the factory and the Chinese will fulfil from China - all outsourced. But, need paying customers first
