To best of my knowledge most Brokers must follow an Investment Strategy... There is a 'Big Brother' watching over them...ASIC and most Brokers have what's called a CARE program Cover A.se Retain Employment.

If they select say a small minnow or the like and it goes 'belly up' and the client complains to ASIC oops ??? 'No research ' to back up decision!!!

But if a top 50/100 goes down then no worry cause their research is based on some 'flat bottomed analyst's ' report

IMHO we have brought a lot of this 'Red Tape' upon ourselves.... If something goes wrong .... WHO CAN WE BLAME.. and now seems the Pollies with their legislation are backing this strategy. Then someone comes up with just an ounce (gram) of Common Sence says...
We must get rid of a lot of 'red tape' ... and then proceeds to................................... go to sleep????( sorry hibernate)
