Looks like this will just keep going backwards and forwards. "sigh"
Is NMT paying another dividend in December?? First I have heard of it. Where did you read that? I hope so. Also you say MIN are buying that 13%. Have they announced this to the market? Do you know something we don't? That can be classed as insider trading. You also say "Nothing you say refutes the fact that NMT is not set to go backwards quite quickly now." How about production at Mt Marion starting soon?? First shipment in December quarter. Doesn't sound like going backwards to me.
Also yes you are right in saying there is no "market price" for spodumene. When I say ON market prices means what the going rate for spodumene is at that time. This is how most lithium sellers are negotiating sales prices. I didn't say at the current spodumene market price. You also say "The one undeniable truth is NMT would have made more money and be in a better position with a cracking share price had they not decided to sell. That is one of the strangest mining decisions I have seen." If you followed NMT you would see they have their eyes set on lithium hydroxide and not the smaller prices of spodumene. This is why they chose this path. You also say "The first shipments from Mt Cattlin are set to bring in $108m USD +." Well then you take away costs and then split 50-50 with GMM and according to Anthony Tse Mt Cattlin will make about $40m year." Tse says the mine can produce 200,000 tons of lithium concentrate – or spodumene - a year, although initial output will probably be around 150,000 tons".Barron’s Asia reports on GXY 6 May 2016. He figures the mine will generate annual cash flow of least AUD40 million. So $20m a year GXYs share is this the kind of money that you can see GXY financing SDV without dilution??
You then say "I thought hard about NMT months ago but the plan to sell off was just too short-sighted for me to be at all interested." After everything GXY has sold off to get to where they are today you still went with GXY over NMT?? And then you go on again about dividends. A dividend is a dividend. I am sorry you missed out. You can look at it any way you want.
You say NMT will go backwards, well that is your opinion and you are entitled in it. I am not bagging out GXY in any way. They once made me a lot of money. GXY are in a great place and have a great future ahead. I think the same for NMT.
Congratulations on GXY finally getting money from production. This is only the beginning and a lot more to come.
