i know relenza aint a vaccine but thats the whole point.

highly targetted, flexible, up to date vaccines could control a flu outbreak much more efficiently than relenza.

imunising against the flu is a lot bettter than relying on people to keep taking relenza.

sure people working with chickens, health care workers etc will still take relenza. it is highly effective against a section of the protein that doesnt mutate due to its functional importance.

therefore any types of the flu will be preventable with relenza - vaccines can be mutated around.

but on a large scale flexible vaccines could go a long way to deal with pandemics.

dont get me wrong. im not saying this product is better than that product. they are quite different.

but as the technology develops all of these flu treatments are going to affect each others sales.

best to stay aware of all of them rather than saying, "well its a different type of technology that deals with the flu therefore it wont affect sales of this company"
