Dropped another $5,000 on xTV shares today prior to the announcement.
I think there are some points for consideration in it that personally gave me some comfort.
Glass will be half full, half empty or somewhere in between depending on which posters you are reading at the time.
Things that I got from it are as follows and my thought processes will obviously differ from others on here.
First 3D cloud customer order and reseller update.
- First major customer order still a goer, two thumbs up.
- 4 new resellers have emerged, not sure why 4 exactly maybe due to areas needing to be covered or other reasons but we now know there are 4 and further, that two of them are telecommunications companies. hopefully we will learn who the telco's are sooner rather than later, I personally hope one is Verizon.
-Sales leads, as another poster has correctly stated, it doesn't mean anything until the contracts are signed, however it was more info than I knew this morning and they didn't have to share it but they did. Who knows one or more of these 24 may be potentially large clients., if they are corner shops we're screwed : )
- Value of the order will change. I see this as a disclaimer that doesn't scare me, it may mean that the order could be more, however you would expect that the company would be working on the most amenable solution for all parties.
Acquisition of TPT - 3D Technology Company
- As was covered recently elsewhere they may not necessarily need to pursue this option however it seems that both companies recognise there is value, if they change the buyout conditions and both companies come out winners it is a plus, but I read that it is still going ahead in a co-operative and congenial manner, a good thing.
Monthly sales update
- This may be a stalling manoeuvre and some posters may think that which is fair enough. I go back to my own early inquiries and response from Charles Thomas as to Cedar Sinai, their size and the fact they only started with their network for cardio related health services and then I recall recent posts by Aaron and Edward and my thoughts are that Cedar Sinai has grabbed more networks / channels for internal use and the company is working how to reflect that or give an accurate representation on their monthly updates, networks as opposed to further internal channels with value but not showing extra networks. Things change, hopefully a company announcement on the monthly updates will clarify it.
Reseller programme
- Again I think of Edwards post and his desire to touch base on commissions etc in respect to this, it now seems that pricing / training materials / sales incentives are sorted and stated in this announcement.
- Also PCM is happy with it which I see as a positive for having motivated sales staff going forward selling the product, this covers off on that. I am slightly disappointed that the exact details and specific commissions are not covered but I understand why.
Whilst the release may not be as specific as some would like I think it confirms recent conversations that some posters may have had with the company as well as confirming the resellers, original "first" customer and PCM and where they are currently at with having finalised the finer details and can now get down to business earning those commissions.
Disclaimer: Long Term accumulator. Despite a lot of hiccups and issues I think if xTV can get a good model going I may get a very good return on my investment. This assumption comes with a lot of stress and risk though as this is a stock trying to find its feet and not a blue chip.
