The Japanese swore an oath to die for the Emporor , the American Generals were debating where to drop the bomb, some wanted to drop it on the palace , others onto Tokyo harbour. It was decided to drop it on Nagasaki and Hiroshima. The Japs kept fighting after the first one was dropped. They stopped after the second one was dropped. The Japanese Generals KILLED their people by carrying on fighting NOT THE AMERICANS!
