England is a snapshot into our future. The people making decisions on immigration always have the least exposure to the effects, they only see the wealth. White Anglo Saxon bankers and government officials have ruined Britain. But they wouldn't know. Travelling in the car from their beautiful leafy homes in Surrey to a London office. Then retiring down to Cornwall with their Anglo mates.
It's the same here in Sydney and Melbourne. Politicians have a big incentive to the grow the population without ever having to live amongst it.
