Price rise happened about the same time as they concluded the manufacturing agreement, think about it how could they come up with a realistic price until they locked in a manufacturer. Also as I previously mentioned earlier info on the ROAMe didn't mention GPS capabilities so if they decided to add the GPS that would also account for the price rise and also the fact that its a little larger than anticipated. More thought less nonsense guys.
