You have to give Bouris his dues, he has an enviable record of building a profitable business that has greatly enriched him. He has subsequently been an investor/director on other businesses that have created some value. He has high name recognition, but imo, his personal profile is about as relevant to his ability to be a director as Trump's TV persona has to being president.

I was somewhat surprised when he joined the board as I could not see where he would add any value. 3 or so years on, and I am still no more the wiser as to what/how/where he contributes to the business. The board has Industry experience (Hurrel) Corporate Governance etc (Andersen), a shareholder (Martin) and (until recently) the MD. And Bouris - the guy who, at his cursory AGM attendances has said he doesn't understand the technology or the industry but was really keen to join a global disrupter. (BTW has anyone ever seen a Chairman made it more perfectly clear he had better places to be than at his company's AGM?)

Anyone have a serious opinion on what he does to justify his position?
