Welcome aboard ...and thanks for your T/A input. Very helpful. Agree your view re legit shorting generally. However I do have an ethical dilemma with the concept...as many of us do it seems. There seems to be two clear camps...the pragmatists and the idealists.
Seems you fall into the pragmatists side and I think that is the majority view. Im an idealist and that's one small reason of why I am very fond of SHV...it's very very green...I really like that element. It doesn't steer my investment sentiment it's just a feel good element. I still invest in stocks that I do have ethical dilemmas with but at the end of the day my goal is to end up with a well balanced portfolio presenting me with both excellent income and rising SP ...SHV fits that criteria extremely well.
Anyway glad your onboard and let's watch it green up together...the ride up is finally on and we're moving in the right direction towards making up the ground we lost from earlier this year. It's just catch up time and if all goes as expected for the end of year financials then no reason I can see that SHV shouldn't bteak it's all time highs. We have pedigree a great story and a scope for growth that is as solid as it gets.
