The idea of having immigrants is that they are an investment
The purpose of any investment is that it produces more than it's cost
The government figures show that the majority of the recent immigrants don't actually work, and with the family settlement added in that means that for each possible good investment we have another 3 - 5 ? who do not work but just cost in the way of pensions and medical costs etc.
So are immigrants a good idea anyway ?
If they ALL worked and contributed that would be another story but the facts don't show that it's happening all that's happening is social and community ** which is very expensive
