Hey BV,

My strategy has always been to stay with NOR for a minimum of 2 years as at Sept last year and to just average in constantly over that period, but never so much that it throws my portfolio out of balance. Once the 2 years is up I will then make a decision to either sell or continue to buy more. If I do buy more then I will be waiting to see if NOR will either become a take over target or preferably pay dividends. This is all conditional of NOR becoming a success of course.

Presently I have reduced topping up in NOR as I need to allocate funds to other stocks to balance my portfolio as I really got stuck into buying NOR as it began to fall from its highs. I brought heaps of NOR around 4c, all the way up to 10c and back down again. So now my average is around 6c with NOR.

Very rarely do I take profits before 12 months is up so I just constantly keep my portfolio all balanced out so it doesn't hurt so much if something drops. And I have always been of the opinion that NOR will take longer than most shares. It's path to greatness isn't as defined as say a prospecting company which tends to have a clearer stage by stage path. This makes it a bit easier to plan your moves, Whereas NOR's path can and has been more tumultuous.

I find that after a while you get to know your stocks and how they fluctuate and where they are in their growth stage or cycle. Some are fast movers, others slow, and some of my stocks are in a holding pattern so there is no need to give them much attention for a few months.

Presently NOR a bit like that for me. I like to check in on the threads on HC and occasionally comment... usually probably not very constructively, especially on the weekends when I am enjoying a Shiraz or three.

However, from what I think I know of NOR, they are a very smart and capable group that have been quick to adapt their path and strategy to give us all the best chance of success.

If I was building this product then I too would want it to be an all in one App rather than one App for this and one App for that.
