Well, I read that part as they're currently conducting meetings with "institutions [located] in US and HK".
It's not that the meeting is held in US or HK, but the companies are US/HK companies. The give away is the word "currently" - they can't physically be in two places at the same time.
Anyway, what is clear is that the board is meeting in Asia "board will be meeting next week in Asia". I'm not convinced they're travelling to US.
