My earlier post is only relevant to graphite particles that don't have 'intercalated' impurities. That means I'm only talking about graphite particles that have impurities attached externally to the particle (flake).

In 'ashing' test perspective, the term used for external impurities of a graphite particle is called 'cold welded' and for the word "intergrown" that you use the term used is 'intercalated'.

It helps to use the common terms in order to avoid confusion or misunderstandings.

With regard to MNS specifically, if I recall correctly, their announcement was lacking in detail and also referred to micronisation of the graphite particles as part of the multi flotation process. Correct? What do you understand about a micronisation process? Understand that and you might see that is all about milling and grinding.

    Cheers
