morning Frank,
I too saved a copy as I thought it was that good. I was hoping someone like Teddy was around to take the blame
Very lovely post to read on a Sunday - interesting comment from Nick on TH -
Parsifal and I discussed that - she feels - and, I probably agree that the thought was one of Nick's throw away's - not meaning something immediate - but, a thought of something in the future - not a bid, more likely a large contract - but, IMO - would have to be a whopper - because he doesn't like halts at all. Could be some tie up with some other business - who knows - I/we suspect there are offers coming from several places atm.
I can only think that the silence - which I too have been feeling - is due to the fact that it is now thought that the numbers will do the talking - that is pretty clear - whether it is the reason or not?????
I have my ears pricked for tomorrow morning and Tuesday though - just in case I am wrong.
I halfway expect news of some sort in the next couple of days - and, I don't mean legislation - possibly even just the newsletter - but, I sense something.
What we need is another white weekly candle to make me feel on firmer ground - I would rate the chances of that as higher than lower - but, one can never tell.
the news of 'multiple' insto. people in a delegation is certainly interesting - one assumes that it is the result of interest built from the roadshow - enough interest was generated to get the gong for a trip to SC ------------- which I think we can be 100% sure would seal the deal on - 'yes, we want to be in'.
Now - they have 3 choices --------- fluff around with the stock and try and get easy marks to sell - which, for a large position - just isn't easy as many of us have been saying -- OR - just keep buying up to 'a figure'.
or ------- let it go.
Pretty obvious that the latter is not a goer - the US trip tells us that one - and, if my oil is right on some of (most of) the US valuations from yonks ago - those valuations were far far far higher than our highest SP - and there is a busload of stuff that has grown since - so, unless Aussie instos. value stuff dramatically different to the yanks - one would think that sooner or later they will just have to keep hitting the buy button -- like it or lump it.
Basically - unless they can stuff us around and beat us back below 60 again - it's time to 'pay to play' - or bugger off.
Again - the size of the bars will be the clear indication IMO.
I wish I could remember which company I saw - when institutions decided to jump on board - it was a classic graph - just grooving along with a slow rise and little bars and volume - then, one day - a bit of action - then, it just got bigger and bigger and bigger - and grew for months and months with growing bars, growing volume and a SP that was just plain amazing.
If we get that - it's going to be one hell of a Christmas party.
The only thing I feel unknown is the listing - I just don't know when and I don't know how it will effect us. I thought about this last night - and, I thought - would any adviser think that anywhere between now and November would be ok? - The closer we get to Nov. the more unstable it must be surely?
That was the only area I had of uncertainty --------- any business problems will work themselves out - all companies have glitches - and we have such good news coming and business growth that the business will override any glitches IMO.
I am disappointed in the delay for getting into the new premises - but, it may not hold things up if done right - and looks to be August September I believe. Things might be getting a bit cramped in the labs - but, storage shouldn't be an issue - surely there must be secure storage/warehousing nearby for a few months for a few hundred drums of chemicals - I would think.
Anyway - sounds like some blockbuster jobs coming - as we all expected (well, almost all of us holders anyway - no matter about the rest of em hopefuls).
Talk soon - I am sure jstall will be ok for Teddy to post - he seems like a pretty easy going person
