That's called lack of supply (volume) in a high demand stock = rapid price rise on low/average volume = sensible people appear to be holding onto their shares & why wouldn't they ? It will reach equilibrium somewhere, just hard to say where at this stage as demand is very high & supply is very tight just at present. Good time to be holding.
I'm not sure what page/chapter that will be on in your book but I am sure you will find it somewhere. If not try a secondary school economics text book & look up 'demand & supply' - oh that's right everybody does that stuff on the internet now don't they - here try this:
