I still think a pinned up spreadsheet highlighting the details of each with updates as we pick up on them will be a nice little addition.
what I would like to see in one sheet would be:
-Acquisition Announcement Date
- Shell Company Ticker
- Acquisition Name
- Acquisition Type (they are all Tech, but maybe something short like ''SaaS'' , ''HR'' , ''Graphene Tech'')
-Indicative Vend Consideration (Shares or/and $ value)
-Corp Advisory doing the deal
-Raise Amount $
-Milestone Consideration
-Merged entity fully diluted Market cap at raise price (this includes all vend consideration, IPO raise, existing holders)
- % held by shell / % held by IPO / % held by vend
- Proposed re-listing date
This is generally what I look for in RTO's as before I DD the technology itself, I want to know that the deal is attractive aside from the product/service itself. I'm sure many here do that too - now imagine having this as a reference point (as well as a reminder!)
It may be an ambitious task though, considering how many deals are in process / will go through
