Why doesn't the leadership then admit their mistake regarding 1975 instead of diverting the blame on the members for getting it wrong. That would be showing true humility and leadership don't you think? There was a prediction that 6000 years of human history would end in 1975 and this would be followed by the millennial reign . This was presented in a timeline in the Awake October 8 1971. There are a number of other articles written from 1968 , as well as talks given that conveyed the same idea. I assume you are a JW. If this is the case, you are not furthering kingdom interests by denying what was written in print regarding 1975 . If you persist in doing this you will only come across as either ignorant or disingenuous .
