The weirdest coffee I have ever had was in a little coffee place right on a coffee bean plantation outside of Da Lat in Vietnam. That was not far away from another interesting little place that served roasted crickets and lizards. I had a handful of crickets but gave the lizard a swerve...

Anyway...Weasel Coffee, there were cages of weasels fed coffee beans, they chew the bean taking off the outer coating then "deposit" the remaining bean for collection. The collected beans are washed then roasted and ground to produce an interesting flavour...

I haven't' seen it available here? We bought a little keg shaped container of the stuff and bought it home...all finished now though.
