    I get your point on the interest but it would also be tax deductible would it not?

    I'm only looking at select CFD stocks. With ZFX I anticipate a price of $15 in 12 months time (based on a current zinc price, dividend payout, potential for exploration success etc). Dividends (70c for the half, current price $10.60) should more than cover my interest payments. Therefore i should pocket the capital gain. Of course it may very well not work out this way - but if it does with the leverage of cfd's I should do very well.

    Thanks for the feedback as i'm not silly enough to get too excited with the leverage offered (most stocks in a normal comsec account).
