That was me mate - I hold TV2 through a custodian. There are complex legal reasons why they cannot be offered to overseas investors. Apparently the company would have to comply with an unreasonable number of foreign laws. This has been the case for a number of options that I considered buying for other ASX listed company's also.
It a shame - I'm missing out big time here. I've discussed this with the company and with the ASX. I didn't buy GAL/TV2 for the opportunity to receive free options so I have gotten over it quicker than I thought I would! There is huge potential for this company in the short, medium and long term. I will continue to hold long term to maximise my gains. It's all there in black and white for me. 'Too easy' as you chaps in Australia say! Good luck with your free options! Not jealous at all!!....yeah right!
