Thanks for insight. I wasn't familiar with PEGY but see its usefulness.
I guess mechanizing all that you can with ratios is a good idea. That's why Joel Greenblatt's method appeals to me because you can remove all emotion/colouring in.
Actually years ago I bought Coal and Allied purely because of its PEG. Turned out a win for me.
If I get time to scratch my behind I might try to understand PEG properly again. I'm not sure there shouldn't be a coefficient in the denominator.
