PAPER CHEMICALS MARKET ALERT
BASF Catalysts has nominated a price increase of upwards of $15/dst for hydrous kaolins and $45/dst for calcined clays, effective 1 October or as contracts allow. The energy surcharge mechanisms will remain in place and additional transportation costs will be passed on to customers taking shipments on a delivered basis.
