Hey Woody...who knows what may happen in 5 years in the energy sector. we might have nuclear fusion reactors that can be built in shipping containers in a year.

But what i do understand from prof maria..the inventor or VFRB is that vanadium is a single element and in contrast multi metals Flow batteries seem to cross contaminate over time and may have dangerous chemical reactions like H2 formation. furthermore vanadium has a high energy efficiency 85% others 50% and 60%. Plus vanadium batteries have been developed for decades, so i think the large expensive batteries will be vanadium but who knows ? id be happy for an academic to comment. For me IMHO id back vanadium batteries for the mid term at least now to 5 years out and thats when all the action has to take place to meet environment targets worldwide before we loose beachfront homes and before we have floods and fires. Hence im holding and would sell my left kidney to buy up more if i was a little healthier.
