I think you are right. It would be a tremendous shame if excessive expectations on possible size of prospective conventional resources lead to disappointment when a good find is announced. I note that DW used the analogy of "icing on the cake" rather than a " two- layered cake".
Not long to go now before we get to see the nature of the icing.
