Great links D, thanks for posting. I'm sure PB and PD have had many interesting chats, not the least about the location of the thermal maturity sweet spot for the HRZ. I note from the slides in the aoga.org article that Decker (at least in 2010/11) places the sweetspot a bit further north than what now seems to have been established. Indeed it would seem that Decker and Ed Duncan were probably on the same page as the (then) believed sweetspot area has a high correlation with the acreage leased by GB. It is only through subsequent drilling and seismic by GB and of course our Ice#1 that it has been established that it is further south - over only the southern 20% of GB acreage and on at least 70% of our acreage.
Speaks volumes for the quality of PB's toolkit and models that he was able to pick this while everyone else acquired land further north.
