re: i'm looking for honest christians/ Mitsoss,

Welsh Calvinistic Methodists learn "The Institutes" along with their ABCs. No sentimental hand clapping chorous singing for that mob.

Historically the great mathematicians seemed to also enjoy a bit of dabbling in theology.

Though my game is engineering (Mech. Eng) I have an amateur interest in mathematics and also (being a bit of a snob) when I realised the "queen of the sciences" was not enough for the greats I thought I must join them.

That of course does not make one a Christian. (It's the doers not the dabblers that make the cut,or as John Calvin would have put it,had he been able to contact me, it's not what you know but who knows you that matters). But like mathematics it probably helps ward off brain degeneration.

It is Mitsoss isn't it? not Yak?

psst! Is boyoh still around? His "historical theology" is a whole new ball game well beyond the understanding of any mathematician.

    Regards, Santa C.
