I think from memory it was Chilly who said that DW had intimated during AGM chats that 2H spud date was chosen on the basis of preferred time to do well completion and flow testing. If it remains the strategy to do flow testing in late April/early May then it is unlikely that spud date would be brought forward.

The question in my mind is whether that leaves enough time to plan and permit for Ice#3 before the next winter drilling drilling season (either for us or for a farm in partner). But then again, we can drill all year round from any gravel pads that we build next to the highway. So all good.
