ahhh aimone - your last post plus one further back are certainly backing the exact language that i was looking for - in that article above - the comment that neg int rates send a message your paper currency is not worth having - is the kind of thought bubble i was trying to say - it is diiferent to inflation BUT is essentially the same - if not a whole lot worse than rampant inflation because this is now not something that creeps up on u over time - it is a flip of coin decision - a back or red on the roulette table - is your money worthless - ie neg interest rate - -0.001% or is it worth something - positive interest rate -+0.001%!!?? - either way it is not much difference mathematically - but a whole lot of difference sentiment wise and in reality.
the $$ under the bed idea is now not too far away from being a reality?? and of course the gold bulls will be going ballistic telling us that this is the only true value - but i will say that is BS in the end too - but i will not bet against gold going a lot higher on these concepts discussed here and the fear factor it will instill
