Your guess is wrong.
Teva has no more access to the phase 2 trial than anybody else. Anybody else includes the cardiologists who have been very impressed by the phase 2. The phase 2 results would have been one of the factors influencing Teva to invest many millions of dollars in the phase 3 trial and the company. How you can possibly turn that on its head and derive the opposite meaning escapes me.
Teva had corporate policy reasons to decline further investment. No new science has become available to them for any trial to be a factor in their departure.
Teva has no clinical info on phase 3 trial results. Nil.
