I sold out of LWP many months ago for a significant loss. I now regret it and have bought back in.
There is probably no other technology that has had more research than batteries in recent years, and this will only continue. Likewise for graphene, and if LWP has patents on a synthetic manufacturing method, and can use this in batteries, then we have a double whammy to success. Australia, through the company PAK, have made the first commercial graphene product, and it is great to see LWP jumping on the bandwagon of graphene commercialization.
Considering their experience in ceramics, I was thinking that their new battery technology would be solid state ceramic, like that of Johnson batteries in the US, but I think Al-graphene could be even better. The test results of the battery are not fictional results, as any science minded person should know, otherwise they need to remove the rose coloured glasses.
Whether or not Al-graphene batteries will become a serious contender for displacing Li-iron batteries, is yet to be seen, but lacking a cyrstal ball, I will place my investment on the test results and the knowledge that batteries are an exploding industry; the good news here though besides Al-graphene batteries superior recharging ability, is that they do not physically 'explode,' or at least catch fire like Li-iron.
Wouldn't it be ironic if after all LWP's troubles, they became the darling again of the ASX. They have now bought into the two most dynamic industries in town, all with one investment. I can see EAS behind this, so it looks as though Eddy will be getting his milestone payment after all....... when is it due: August if at .024?
