Sorry david, I think newstarter has hit the nail on the head. The article talks about a new holding company. Not the old MBN relisted on the TSX. That doesn't make sense for the shareholders of the new company, they'd inherit all the old debt from MBN too. Of course, it means that all the noteholders get nothing too, except so far as they are shareholders in the new company. Although they will have to pay for their shares, as MMB will need cash for C&M or to restart operations. And Banco Bradesco may require to be paid out too.
