Who knows? So much work, so many $$$$, so many parties involved before you can even work out if you have a case. The $30m doesn't involve the VA or the VR, the $11m doesn't involve the company but does involve the VA/VR Brasilian authorities, MMB management, the $9m cash on hand also was needed for creditors/wages etc. and now you want to involve a Canadian jurisdiction too, for something that could easily be totally above board?
Seriously, I doubt that the small shareholders can afford just their own costs, that is, the solicitors' disbursements. You will need expert accounting and legal witnesses, geologist witnesses maybe, barristers, translators, court fees ..... Let alone the costs of the other side if you lose - you'd probably all be bankrupted.
