There is no doubt that Mick is a mate of Silviu.
Silviu definitely gave him a jab in each joint--how else could Mick strut, as you say, like a twenty year old.
I like the idea of harvesting some of Mick's cells, and not only could people improve their health and longevity, they could also display some atrocious behaviour!
