I've been thinking of starting a thread focused on comparing ARD to peers. Would anyone be keen to contribute?
I did an analysis of SHV (almond grower and food processor) when it was getting sold down heavily, comparing it to peers in the food sector and I found the exercise very helpful. At a time when the market pushed the SP down to $4, a peer comparison showed fair value was at least in the $6-7 range from memory. And that's where we are today (not pretending its because of the analysis, but I think it's useful to offer that perspective).
