According to citi, the big three majors have already ramped up production to meet current demands (aka to profit from the rise) but lithium prices should still remain above the norm until Bolivia’s massive Salar de Uyuni begins operations in 2018 link which is said to be able to have enough lithium for world needs for 100 or so years (Funded by Bolivian government to tune of USD1B).
