The Catholic church does not have a "problem" with homosexuals. It does however have a stance on homosexuality in that is against the Church law to practice it AGAINST ONE'S CONSCIENCE.

Of course there are homosexual priests and they are respected as any other priest is. All the Church has ever said is that gay priests CANNOT be practising homosexuals just as heterosexual priests CANNOT be practising straights.

If you happen to be a homosexual or heterosexual and you are a priest who wants to forgo your vow of celibacy then you must leave the service, it's as simple as that and applies equally to paedophiles.
