What about the lift they give Australia for their efforts?
What about extraordinary doctors who research and for the doctors and nurses that deliver extraordinary front line care to ordinary Australians?
What about extraordinary planners, architects and engineers who produce extraordinary outcomes and infrastructure for ordinary Australians?
Ditto for extraordinary agriculturists, pastoralists and miners who deliver extraordinary wealth for ordinary Australians? Ditto for teachers and lecturers turning out extraordinary and well informed ordinary Australians? Ditto for extraordinary artists, musicians and writers for providing extraordinary depth and culture for ordinary Australians?
Australia is better served for recognising, encouraging and rewarding extraordinary than for simply catering and providing for ordinary. Clearly a balance of both is preferable.
