I've booked my profits up at 38 cents when my wife ( who runs her own Real Estate business) told me point blank
they are going to struggle.
They charge Real Estate Agents $150 p.m to advertise rental properties when my wife and practically ALL Real Estate agents go through RealEstate.com (REA) and Domain for FREE as it's part of their package to list selling houses.
So why would an agent pay $150 when they get it free with the 2 giants of the industry?
They are targeting landlords. Thee trouble with that is they are competiting again with the big boys.
They offer landlords with" TICA " which gives access to gov'data base for bad tenants which is every landlord's biggest concern. However, they charge them $20 per "check" whereas the Big agencies pay $400 p.a and get unlimited accesss , literally can search 1,000 names.
My only other gripe is the way CEO used massive rally in SP for 2 cr's.
I must stress this is my and my wife's opinion we could be badly wrong and it's a huge success, I hope so!
But I'm giving you an insiders opinion on their business model!
