Grocery group Metcash Ltd (MTS) fell as much as 15.8 percent to a one-year low after flagging it faces a tough year ahead with costs rising, German group Aldi expanding into its strongholds and major supermarket chains slashing prices.
Sounds like the juggernaut is putting pressure on IGA along with the majors.
More competition is good for the consumer.
